Join Wildlands Trust stewardship staff to remove and replace the old, worn boardwalk along the Todd Trail at Willow Brook Farm Preserve. All experience levels are welcome! While this work day is open to everyone, we may only need all-hands-on-deck during the first hour, then a smaller crew of volunteers may stay to work on constructing the new boardwalk.

Most of this work will include lifting and carrying lumber in and out of the worksite. We will use crowbars and drills to remove and replace the old boardwalk with crib-style bog boards.

Parking:

Please park at the Willow Brook parking area. If the parking area is full, some volunteers may be asked to caravan down the dirt road to the field.

What to Wear and Bring: 

• Sturdy, closed-toed shoes 

• Water, 1-2 bottles 

• Snacks 

• Work gloves (if you have them, we will provide work gloves to anyone who needs them)

Restrictions: 

• Ages 14+ 

• No pets
