Join Wildlands Trust’s volunteer hike leaders, Sharon Brooks and Betsy Hall, for a 5-mile hike at Halfway Pond in Plymouth, MA! This is a strenuous hike with sand, rocks, roots, and hills, but at a slower, 2 miles per hour pace. While access nature hikes invite hikers to learn the trails with experienced leaders, hikers must have experience hiking 5 miles in similar terrain.

Parking:
The parking address will be sent to all registered attendees the week of the hike.
From Route 3: Take Exit 7 (old Exit 3) and head southwest on Clark Road. At intersection, turn left onto Long Pond Road and then immediately take 1st right to continue on Clark Road. Continue down Clark Road (bear left at fork to stay on Clark Road) and continue onto West Long Pond Road. We will not be parking at the traditional Wildlands Trust parking lot - registered attendees will be sent the parking address the week of the hike.

What to Expect:
Hiking 5 miles along Gramps Loop at a mile per half-hour pace
Traversing strenuous, rooted, pine-needle-covered, sandy, and occasionally steep terrain
Wildlands Trust volunteers and staff to guide you!

Maximum 15 hikers
Minimum 5 hikers
Outdoor programs are weather permitting. Cancellations and postponements due to weather will be announced online and registered attendees will be notified via email.
