VolunWednesday - Old Colony History Museum

Join Wildlands Trust to plant a native garden at the Old Colony History Museum in Taunton as part of a community stewardship project. All experience levels are welcome!

Work will include raking, digging, and installing native plantings at the museum.

The volunteer day will last from 10am-1pm. Volunteers are free to come and go as they please. Questions? Contact Stewardship & Volunteer Coordinator Rebecca Cushing at volunteer@wildlandstrust.org.

What to Wear and Bring:

  • Sturdy, closed-toed shoes 

  • Water, 1-2 bottles 

  • Snacks 

  • Work gloves (if you have them, we will provide work gloves to anyone who needs them) 

Restrictions:

  • Ages 14+ 

  • No pets 

Register:

While registration is optional, we strongly recommend it so that we can have enough work for everyone to meaningfully participate! Additionally, volunteer days are subject to last minute changes, register below for updates!
