Join Wildlands Trust stewardship staff to construct, install, and paint “story walk” panels as a part of the outdoor classroom at Downey Elementary School in Brockton. The panels will be used by teachers and students—they are part of a larger vision for an outdoor learning space that Wildlands Trust, Manomet Conservation Sciences, and Brockton Public Schools are partnering to build at the Downey Elementary School. All experience levels are welcome!
Work will include digging, setting posts, assembling wooden panels using drills, and painting.
The volunteer day will last from 10am-1pm. Volunteers are free to come and go as they please. Questions? Contact Stewardship & Volunteer Coordinator Rebecca Cushing at volunteer@wildlandstrust.org.
