Blooms & Brews at Old Field Pond Preserve

Explore the trails at Old Field Pond Preserve with Wildlands Trust hike leaders Jessamyn and Skip. We will hike 4 miles through winding roads and across fields. Along the way, your leaders will share information on local flora in bloom! This is a unique opportunity to enjoy Old Field Pond Preserve, which is normally closed to the public. After the hike, we invite you to join us at Stone Path Malt (11 Kendrick Rd, Wareham, MA 02571) for some food and brews! *Food and drinks are not included in the ticket cost. In the event of a postponement, our rain date will be Sunday, May 17, from 11 AM - 1 PM.

Parking:

Meeting at Bay End Farm, 200 Bournedale Rd, Bourne, MA 02532. Parking is available off-road once you drive through the gates. Please following parking directions of the volunteers once on the property.

What to Wear & Bring:

  • Sturdy, closed-toed shoes

  • Weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor activities

  • Water

  • Snack

  • Sunblock or sun protection

  • Bug repellent

  • Ages 21+

  • No pets

  • Maximum 15 hikers

  • Minimum 5 hikers

Outdoor programs are weather permitting. Cancellations and postponements due to weather will be announced online and registered attendees will be notified via email. In the event of a postponement, our rain date will be Sunday, May 17, from 11 AM - 1 PM.
