Build relaxed, family-friendly natural exploration into your weekend routine!
The Community Conservation Barn at Davis-Douglas Farm is Wildlands' beautiful space for indoor programs, presentations, and more. We are opening the barn on most Saturdays this summer so everyone can step out of the sun and enjoy the company of fellow nature enthusiasts.
Chat with a Wildlands Ambassador, pick up a trail brochure, refill your water, and enjoy access to restrooms before and after your hike at Emery Preserve across the street or Halfway Pond Conservation Area down the road. Tea and lemonade are provided as available.
We will offer different activities from week to week to keep things fresh and fun for nature lovers of all ages! Want to add some adventure to your hike? Borrow a “Barn Bag” equipped with magnifying glasses, a field guide, and a scavenger hunt!
