June in Southeastern MA means Lady Slippers are in bloom! These orchids are known to grow in the forests of New England, showing their unique pink (and sometimes white!) flowers for only a few weeks in June. Join hike leaders Jess and Betsy at Great Neck Conservation Area in Wareham to look for these colorful flowers, and view other wildflowers, migrating spring birds, and trees in full spring foliage along the way! This will be a slow stroll to allow people the opportunity to enjoy the woodland flowers and photograph them as we walk along so bring your camera!
